Let's Talk Style: Vintage Shopping with Leah Salimbene
BC Footwear shoe designer Leah Salimbene is our go-to source for all things style. We spent an afternoon with her at one of our favorite LA shopping spots, Shareen Vintage. This hidden gem on the outskirts of downtown is filled to the brim with vintage clothing and accessories, and it's a one-stop shop for everything from a crazy sparkly party dress to a sophisticated vintage ensemble. Leah gave us a quick run down on her fashion must-haves.

Get Your Craft On
Last night a few of the BC Girls headed over to the Craft and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles for a night of holiday ornament making with design guru Mark Montano, sponsored by Etsy. Armed with pinecones, felt, construction paper and a glue gun, we transformed these humble materials into extraordinary holiday decorations. Check out what we made! And if you want to get in on the craft action yourself you should pick up a copy of Mark's new book, The Big-Ass Book of Crafts 2.

Festival Fashion at FYF Fest
The ladies were out in full force at this weekend's killer music festival FYF Fest. While we partied to the tunes of Broken Social Scene, Girls, Mister Heavenly and others, we also scoped out some hot looks courtesy of the ever stylish ladies of Los Angeles. As always, hats are an essential item at a summer music festival. Our other favorite trends were midi length skirts, black and white color palettes, and of course denim (shirts, jackets, shorts, you name it).
