Watched this dope documentary last night detailing the lives of three Australian pro-surf hopefuls and their journeys both personally and professionally. 

We loved it and thought you would too. Watch it and let us know if you want to drop everything, learn to surf and get in on the ride with them as much as we do.

The Space Hamsters! The BC girls were lucky enough to attend the US launch of the newest San-X characters, the Space Hamsters. Jennifer, creator of Space Hamsters, walked the red carpet with her muse, rescued French Bulldog Twinkie, who is the inspiration for the video game. Can you spot her amazing BC Footwear Eagle Eyes wedges? Also on hand to party with the hamsters were Janice Dickinson and Lisa D'Amato of America's Next Top Model, the adorable Aubrey Anderson-Emmons from Modern Family, and new Twilight star Marlane Barnes. 

And the icing on the cake? All proceeds from the raffle held at the event went to benefit our friends at Best Friends Animal Society, a national organization dedicated to promoting pet adoption.

Field Report.

Field Report is a must listen. Not much else to say about it besides a resounding - they're dope. 

Originally part of Wisconsin based DeYarmond Edison they shared a stage with their bandmate, BON IVER before breaking off to both work on their personal projects. This quote from Adam Duritz, of the Counting Crows, sums their music up best.

"Fergus Falls" by Field Report -- "It's the most incredible song. I can't wait until that entire album comes out and people can hear it. It's an astonishing record ... the songwriting is so good. I got a copy of the CD and was listening to it in the car on the way to the airport, and i had never heard the record in the car, and it blew my mind. I missed my plane driving around San Francisco listening to this record. The scope of the writing, the ambitiousness of the music ... it's bigger than the small stories it's telling."

We strutted our mutts this past Saturday and had such a blast!! Overall our team raised $1500 for homeless pet shelters and our very own LINUS Pow won the kissing contest. This is a cause near to our hearts and we hope this inspires you to get active in your community and join us in protecting our furry friends.
