Summer Concert Series Must-Haves: Part Deux

I kicked off my summer concert series last week with an awesome show by Greg Laswell, featuring guest spots by Ingrid Michaelson and Elizabeth and the Catapult. El Rey was a small enough venue to be intimate but big enough for you to feel like you’re amongst, many musical friends.

Being a petite woman, I still had to do my usual maneuver of weaving through and beneath some strangers' limbs so my view wasn't obstructed by said strangers head. I know it's a successful execution when I am able to not only soak up stage magic, but eye ball all of the eclectic outfits that were brought out to play.

For the second part of the summer concert outfit series, I introduce to you the below, inspired by last week's music and shoe lovers.

Mod & Maxi.

purple/cream

We dig our new mod inspired THAT'LL BE THE DAY heels so much we styled them out with items in Polyvore we would like to add to our closet.

Who doesn't need to own a beaded tank, a cable-knit sweater and a long bohemian maxi skirt?? Not to mention kitschy accessories to add a little somethin' somethin' to the overall style vibe.

What do you think?

Mix & Match.

The best addition to any closet, is one that can be versatile. Wear it with denim, wear it with a dress, wear it with that dress, go to work, go out to dinner (ok you get it). The point is everyone needs options and every purchase should be a mix and match situation.

Happy Longgggg weekend everyone!! Be safe, have fun and take pictures to share.
