We're doing some redecorating over here at the BC offices, which is giving us all sorts of opportunities to flex our crafting muscles. We're really excited about this idea we came up with for making fun succulent planters that also provide a creative way to repurpose tin food cans. We used designs from two of our favorite graphic design books: Hand Job and Over and Over, both by Mike Perry, but you can also cut pages out of magazines or draw your own designs!

What You'll Need:
• ruler
• scissors or x-acto knife
• tin cans (from beans, canned veggies, soup, etc)
• paper designs
• double-sided tape

How To Make It:
1. Measure height of tin can and cut paper to appropriate size
2. Using double-sided tape, stick paper to tin can and wrap around until can is completely covered
3. Using potting soil, plant your succulent in it's new home!

Viola! A pretty new set of plants for your home or office.

  1. Whhaaa? The cutest!

  2. ah those are my favorite two books! mike perry is the man. c: cute craft idea!
